Cannabis Soy Caramel

This is a simple caramel sauce with a couple of twists. First, we’re going to use Cannabis butter because well… why not right? Second, we are going to add a bit of Soy sauce as well, and this is going to give the caramel just a bit of salt that will make it more aggressive tasting compared to the standard version.

Regarding potency, this stuff won’t knock you out. Instead, it goes great when paired with other lightly infused dishes as part of a whole meal.

Mise En Place

– Small Pot

– Whisk

Ingredients

– 1 cup of sugar

– ¼ cup of water

– 1 cup of heavy cream

– 4 oz Cannabutter

– 2-4 oz of soy sauce

Method of Preparation

Be careful; this stuff is hotter than my mixtape.

-Dissolve the sugar in the water on high and let it cook for a minute.

-Whisk in the cream

-Whisk in the butter

-Whisk in the soy sauce

-Remove from the heat and let it cool and thicken up

Notes

Goes great on Brownies, ice cream, etc. This stuff is just as tasty when made with normal butter. Please be careful when making this since boiling sugar burns like nothing else.
