Curaleaf And Rolling Stone Roll Out New Brand Collab

One of the largest cannabis companies in the United States is partnering with a prominent name in music and pop culture to launch a new product line.

Curaleaf today announced a partnership with Rolling Stone to celebrate the symbiotic relationship between music and cannabis.

Products from the partnership will materialize via Curaleaf’s Select brand, which makes vaping and edible cannabis products.

Rock and Roll One Up

The Rolling Stone by Select brand will feature two product lines at debut.

The first line is Select’s new “The Cliq” proprietary pod system for cannabis oil.

The second product line features Select’s first-ever pre-roll.

Curaleaf says both product lines will feature three strains and flavor profiles that Rolling Stone has hand-selected to “celebrate some of the most well-known and genre-defining artists and sounds in music history.”

Featured cannabis varieties will include a berry-forward “Overdrive” Sativa, a full-bodied “Reverb” Indica, and a fruity “Phaser” Hybrid.”

Curaleaf CEO Joe Bayern says building brands that people love is a part of his job.

“Select is a brand built around the relentless pursuit of progress and going to great lengths to create the best possible experience for our consumer,” says Bayern. “This is a synergy we are honored to share with Rolling Stone. They are known for having one of the most authentic and discerning voices in modern journalism, and, as part of that, they’ve included cannabis in their coverage for the past 50 years—something many other publications are only just starting to do today.”

Curaleaf says the long-term partnership will leverage its resources and experience with cannabis products alongside Rolling Stone’s position in music’s past, present, and future.

Rolling Stoned

In addition to the new cannabis product collaborations, Select and Rolling Stone plan to debut a first-of-its-kind retail space in Las Vegas in 2022.

Curaleaf says it will reveal more details on the shop in the near future.

“Music and cannabis go hand in hand,” says Rolling Stone CEO Gus Wenner. “We are thrilled to have found a perfect partner in Curaleaf who gives us the opportunity to design a product that elevates the music listening experience and celebrates the deep connection between the two.”

In Nevada, Rolling Stone by Select products will be available through Select’s wholesale partners and Curaleaf-owned dispensaries, including Acres by Curaleaf and Curaleaf Las Vegas Boulevard.
