Questex Unveils Impact CBD Digital Platform And Live Event

Global business information company Questex has announced the launch of a new cannabidiol-focused (CBD) digital platform and a content-based live event set to take place in San Diego, California next year.

The live event, which will run August 30 through September 2 in 2020, will feature in-depth education focused on CBD’s impact on patients, clients, health practices, and businesses.

There will also be hundreds of CBD providers and experience centers in the expo hall during the event to highlight the impact of CBD health and wellness products.

“With a growing number of events, conferences, and websites popping up in the CBD space, Questex is launching Impact CBD to be the gathering for the entire industry,” said Group President at Questex John Siefert. “Connecting the dots between proactive and reactive healthcare, holistic and conventional medicine, and the ability to understand the impact CBD products can have on patient and client outcomes through both digital and live event experiences.”

The new platform at impactcbdexpo.com will be a year-round content feed featuring curated posts, blogs, articles, videos, and podcasts detailing the impact of CBD.

The platform is launching in Q4 2019 and will connect health and wellness professionals with education and information on the science, clinical studies, products, health benefits, and condition-specific applications of CBD for patients, clients, and customers.

Initial topics will include topics such as the endocannabinoid system, sourcing, dosing, labeling, credit card processing, insurance, legislation, liability, and the FDA.

The platform will provide professionals in the medical, health, and wellness fields with access to comprehensive educational materials on CBD, relevant studies, and the impact that CBD can have on patient outcomes.

Retailers will be able to learn best practices for merchandising and training to prepare them for making the most out of their CBD business.

“We want to make it easier for professionals to get vetted and sound guidance, legal advice, and more throughout the year,” said Seifert. “And celebrate this knowledge sharing at the Impact CBD Expo where attendees can see, touch, feel, taste, and experience CBD on the show floor, in custom suites, and in treatment rooms.”

The digital content feed at impactcbdexpo.com will serve as a template for topics covered at the Impact CBD Expo & Conference in 2020, focusing the event on current and pressing issues that help define the impact that CBD has on patients, health practices, and business.
