TPCO Launches Cannabis Shopping App On Apple Store

A California cannabis company has announced the release of a new shoppable app on iOS.

San Jose-based The Parent Company (TPCO) today announced the launch of its Caliva app, which is available for download on the Apple App Store by consumers over 21.

The Parent Company COO Dennis O’Malley says the app launch is a major milestone for the legal cannabis industry and consumers.

An App with Options

Through the app, users can browse and purchase cannabis products, as well as receive rewards through TPCO’s Caliva CLUB loyalty program.

App users can also schedule deliveries and track their orders to see when they are ready for pickup.

The new app is among the first to take advantage of Apple’s new policy permitting in-app cannabis purchases.

TPCO says the app, which verifies IDs at multiple stages, is a convenient way to purchase safe and legal cannabis products.

“We are thrilled to provide California Consumers with yet another familiar, convenient, and safe way to access our wide assortment of high-quality cannabis products,” says O’Malley. “While our customers love the ease of ordering cannabis through their Caliva app, they also love that we have real experts at the ready to answer their questions through online chat or through scheduling an inline consultation.”

O’Malley says Caliva will continue to focus on having the industry’s best customer experience.

To celebrate the app’s launch on iOS, Caliva is offering customers 30 percent off their first in-app purchase.

Caliva says that it will continue to announce new deals and promotions, which it says will give customers opportunities to explore its full range of products.

Expanding Access

To expand access to its cannabis products through its on-demand Caliva platform, TPCO launched a delivery hub in Chula Vista, California, on Friday, July 16.

Caliva has a new shoppable cannabis app on the Apple App Store.

TPCO says the new hub will provide service to an additional 3.3 million residents in thegreater San Diego area.

According to TPCO, the hub expands its service reach to approximately 60 percent of California’s population.

TPCO says the Caliva brand has experienced a 20 percent increase year-over-year in the number of customers it services through its platform.

The company also received a financial boost in 2019 when former pro-footballer Joe Montana invested $75 million during the first round of funding.

O’Malley says that TPCO is proud to provide unmatched products offerings and customer service with the launch of the new delivery hub.

“From one-on-one consultations to the ability to track their delivery in real time, Caliva provides consumers with a convenient and streamlined experience from start to finish,” says O’Malley. “With over 600 SKUs available through Caliva.com, we are looking forward to providing consumers in the San Diego region with a full service experience to find products that best fit their needs. This new market demonstrates our continued investment in expanding the reach of our own in-house direct-to-consumer platform and our commitment to providing seamless access to cannabis for all consumers across the entire state of California.”

TPCO says that full ownership of its entire seed-to-sale supply chain enables it to provide an unrivaled brand portfolio.

The company’s brand portfolio includes Jay-Z’s MONOGRAM brand, DELI, Fun Uncle, and Caliva.

The new Chula Vista delivery hub will allow customers in the San Diego area to purchase products under the TPCO umbrella and take advantage of its customer loyalty program benefits.
