Multiple agencies participated in a large-scale coordinated law enforcement action last month in Trinity County, California, seizing tens of thousands of cannabis plants and more than a ton of processed marijuana.
From July 25 to July 27, the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office, California Natural Guard, United States Forest Service, and others served a total of 15 search warrants on multiple neighboring parcels which encompassed 1,500 acres.
Authorities seized 66,902 growing cannabis plants during the operation along with 3,525 pounds of processed flower, two pounds of butane hash oil, 2,300 pounds of fertilizer, and three firearms.
Fifteen people were detained during the law enforcement action, and one person, Jesus Moreno of Victorville, was arrested in accordance with California Health and Safety Code sections 11358(d)(3)(D) and 11359 regarding illegal cannabis cultivation, sale, and environmental damage.
