Toronto-based cannabis health and wellness company, Aleafia Health, Inc. has announced the launch of Symbl Atmosphere, an oral metered-dose cannabis spray for sale within the adult-use marijuana market.
The first order is expected to ship on Thursday to BC Liquor Distribution Branch, Ontario’s sole adult-use cannabis wholesale distributor and operator of retail marijuana outlets.
“The Symbl Atmosphere brand and format extension for the adult-use consumer reinforces Aleafia Health’s commitment to delivering unique products to health & wellness conscious consumers, whether they are medical patients or purchasing OTC,” said Aleafia Health CEO Geoffrey Benic. “Precise oral spray dosing allows easy usage tracking and adjustments and has proven popular with our registered medical cannabis patient base.”
Aleafia’s manufactures Symbl at their processing facility in Paris, Ontario which has entered into Phase II of the company’s expansion plan.
The company is in the process of adding 50,000 kg to their annual production capacity to help provide adequate extraction capabilities for cannabis produced at the company’s cultivation facilities in Paris, Port Perry, and the Niagra Region.
Aleafia maintains Canada’s largest national network of medical marijuana clinics and education centers which are staffed by doctors, nurses, and educators.
In February, the TMX Group named Aleafia the 2019 TSX Venture 50 top performing company of the year out of 2,000 companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange.
