In June, Green Growth Brands (GGB) announced the expansion of a partnership with Abercrombie & Fitch (A&F) to stock their cannabidiol (CBD) products in more than 160 of the clothing retailer’s locations.
GGB had trialed their Seventh Sense Botanical Therapy products in ten A&F stores previously.
On Thursday, GGB revealed that they had received a purchase order from American Eagle Outfitters (AEO) for CBD-infused personal care products to sell online and in nearly 500 of the company’s retail outlets.
“We are very pleased to be partnering with American Eagle, a leader in the specialty retail space,” says GGB CEO Peter Horvath. “GGB provided the expertise necessary to develop the product formulations and packaging to create a really special line of products.”
The purchase order marks GGB’s third major retail agreement since the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill in December.
In January, GGB entered into an agreement with adult footwear specialty retailer, DSW to stock Seventh Sense products in 96 of their U.S.-based stores.
Available products, which will be exclusive to AEO, will include lotions, muscle balms, aromatherapy, and other personal care products.
AEO expects to begin selling the new CBD-infused products in October of 2019.
