On Thursday, November 8, 2018, California State Water Resources Control Board staff will be hosting an informational workshop and permitting event at the River Walk Lodge Conference Center in Fortuna for cannabis cultivators and others who might be interested.
Proposed updates to the Cannabis Cultivation Policy and Cannabis Cultivation General Order will be the focus of the day’s workshop which goes from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. During the presentation, there will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions.
State Water Board staff will be present at 2:00 pm to assist people with their Small Irrigation Use registration and help them apply for coverage under the Cannabis Cultivation General Order.
The Board has provided a checklist of things for interested parties to bring with them to help ensure they are prepared for the permitting event.
