Common Citizen Donates More Than 2,000 Thanksgiving Turkeys

An American cannabis producer will donate turkeys to people in need this Thanksgiving.

Michigan-based Common Citizen on Tuesday announced that it would be donating more than 2,000 14-pound turkeys to people across the state.

According to the company, the effort is part of a continuing commitment to give back to the communities it serves.

Common Citizen CEO Michael Elias says the company is committed to serving its home communities, and the turkey giveaway is a way of helping to make sure no one goes hungry this Thanksgiving.

“Cannabis For Humanity begins with serving the needs of the common citizen, and we look forward to helping our friends and neighbors in need across Michigan enjoy this holiday season,” says Elias. “We are excited to partner with these amazing organizations in distributing turkeys to individuals and families in need across Michigan this holiday season.”

Common Citizen has partnered with local municipalities and other organizations to distribute turkeys in communities across Michigan.

Communities include Eastpointe, Lansing, Marshall, Fling, Battle Creek, Pontiac, Ferndale, Westland, Detroit, Lake Orion, and Lathrup Village.

“Working together,” says Elias. “We will help serve those in greatest need in our communities during this special time of the year.”
