Curaleaf To Open Two New Florida Dispensaries

One of the world’s largest cannabis companies is opening two new retail outlets for patients in Florida.

On Friday, May 29, Wakefield, Massachusetts-based Curaleaf announced that it would be opening medical cannabis dispensaries in Pembroke Park and Englewood.

The Pembroke Park dispensary (2900 Country Club Lane) opened on Friday, and the Englewood shop (1930 South McCall Road) will open on Thursday, May 5, following regulatory approval.

The Englewood City shop is Curaleaf’s first dispensary in the city, and the Pembroke Park location is its third one in Broward County.

Curaleaf says adding the two new dispensaries will increase its footprint to 47 shops in Florida and 130 nationwide.

“Florida is one of the fastest growing medical cannabis markets in the country, and as we have expanded in the state, we’ve grown our market share by increasing the number of patients we serve,” says Curaleaf US President Matt Darin. “Our new location in Englewood allows us to serve a new community of patients and provide convenient access to Curaleaf’s innovative products and services.”

Curaleaf says that, as it expands its retail presence in the largest medical cannabis market in the United States, more patients will have access to a premium selection of cannabis flowers, vaporizers, and edibles.

Curaleaf’s selection includes BlueKudu Chocolate, Select Squeeze, Select X-Bites, and Select vaporizers and concentrates.

The Pembroke Park dispensary will hold its grand opening celebration on May 6, and the Englewood shop will host its event on May 13.

According to Curaleaf, the grand openings will include exclusive promotions and opportunities for patients to earn rewards points.
