A Southern California dispensary is asking for people to give some red when they come for the green.
Only months after the grand opening of Dr. Greenthumb’s La Mesa, the dispensary will host a blood drive on February 4, 2022.
Dr. Greenthumb’s is hosting the drive in a partnership with the San Diego Blood Bank (SDBB).
According to SCBB, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused blood bank donations to plummet.
Dr. Greenthumb’s says they are proud to work with SDBB and help people in need during these challenging times.
As a thank you from Dr. Greenthumb’s and SDBB, all donors will receive gift bags.
While the Dr. Greenthumb’s dispensary is for adults of legal age, the blood drive is open to the public, though participants must make an appointment and bring a photo ID.
For health and safety reasons, SDBB encourages donors to arrive hydrated.
