Michigan-based Dragon Wing Extracts (DWE), today announced its support of veterans and first responders by offering lifetime savings on products through its discount cannabidiol (CBD) program.
Comprising just under ten percent of the population, there are more than 20 million veterans in the United States, many of whom live with chronic health issues such as anxiety, pain, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
CBD has shown promise as a potential therapy that can provide relief for veterans and make it easier to cope with daily symptoms.

According to the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), 66,000 veterans were treated for opioid addiction in 2016, and 11 to 20 percent of veterans from the most recent middle eastern war are affected by PTSD.
Research has shown that CBD may be an alternative for opioids in providing safe, effective relief for military veterans with PTSD and depressive symptoms
While additional research is needed for hemp-derived CBD, early results have shown a reduction in PTSD symptoms with use.
In appreciation of the freedoms enjoyed by all Americans, and the sacrifices made by veterans to obtain and maintain them, DWE is offering a 25 percent discount on all products, including pet items.
Interested individuals must register on the DWE website to obtain the discount which will be automatically applied to all future orders for qualifying members.
The DWE lifetime discount can be used by active military members, veterans, firefighters, police officers, and emergency medical technicians (EMTs).
