The Rose Law Group pc (RLG) in Scottsdale, Arizona has announced the appointment of attorney and partner Adam Trenk to the position of Director in the firm’s Cannabis and Hemp Departments.
The woman-owned law firm is the first in the state to establish a standalone hemp department.
RLG has been at the forefront of the hemp industry in Arizona in the past, working closely with the Department of Agriculture while it established rules and regulations that govern the state’s hemp industry.
“Having started my career with the Rose Law Group pc and being immersed in the regulation and promulgation of the medical marijuana industry in Arizona for the past ten years, I’m excited to have to bring the department forward and expand our area of practice to include industrial hemp production,” says Trenk. “Rose Law Group has a reputation of excellence at the cutting edge of innovation, and this professional development provides the opportunity for me to ensure it remains at the forefront as new markets emerge and drive our local and State economies.”
RLG founder, Jordan Rose says that Trenk has deep roots in Arizona’s agricultural community and extensive regulatory and public policy experience stemming from nearly a decade of representing agricultural interests in the state.
Rose says that Trenk’s knowledge, experience, advice, and assistance have led to many legal victories while working with hemp regulations.
In addition to working with planning directors in multiple municipalities in Arizona during the drafting of medical cannabis zoning regulations for their communities, Trenk also facilitated public comments that helped shape the Department of Health’s medical cannabis regulations in 2010 and 2011.
