After a hiatus, a popular, long-running cannabis conference is coming back to Las Vegas.
MJBizCon, one of the largest cannabis business conferences in the world, today announced its return to the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The conference is a hub for the cannabis industry to forge alliances, make deals, secure funding, and establish relationships for success.
The event will feature more than 1,100 exhibitors and over 70 hours of educational content from 140 speakers.
MJBizCon will begin with the State of the Industry and Predictions address from CEO Chris Walsh.
Two key panels will follow Walsh’s address; Reality Check: A Deep Dive into U.S. Cannabis Legalization-Is Your Business Prepared?, and Clash of the Titans: Can Cannabis Culture and Big Business Coexist?
“We are thrilled by the enthusiasm and support we are receiving from the industry about coming back together at MJBizCon,” says Walsh. “One thing we have all learned through the pandemic is that relationships thrive on face-to-face connections. We can’t wait to bring the entire cannabis ecosystem together again to learn about new innovations, advances, and changes that have been happening over the last 18 months.”
According to MJBizCon, the event will feature new format changes and additions.
Back to Business
For the event, MJBizCon has teamed up with the Hall of Flowers cannabis trade show to offer purchasing and networking opportunities within the cannabis industry.
MJBizCon’s early on-demand digital content will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. PT on October 14, focusing on Canada, global markets, international investors, C-Suite executives, and founders.
Select sessions from the digital content will run throughout the event.
On Wednesday, October 19, there will be four separate-ticketed, pre-show forums at the Las Vegas Convention Center—the MJBizFinance Forum, Hemp Industry Daily Forum, Science Symposium, and Associations Day.
A new feature on the expo floor will be the MJBizCon LIVE Stage, where exhibitors will demonstrate new products and technologies.
At 9:00 a.m. on October 22, FUBU Founder and CEO Daymond John will deliver a Closing Keynote and share entrepreneurial inspiration and insight.
MJBizCon Senior VP of events and sales Jess Tyler says they are increasing space for COVID safety, continuing to work with the Las Vegas Convention Center and Clark County to ensure safety measures are in place for the event.
“The positive feedback pouring in from our MJBizCon alumni who are excited to return to Las Vegas is overwhelming,” says Tyler. “We’re looking forward to returning better than ever.”
Registration for MJBizCon, which runs October 19-22, 2021, is now open.
