Police in Gretna, Louisiana arrested a local woman after she got physical with employees at a bar over the weekend.
Early on Saturday, July 14, 36-year-old Brandie Aucoin was at Murphy’s Brewhouse on Gretna Blvd when someone discovered her smoking marijuana in the restroom.
Employees tried to remove her from the bar, but Aucoin retaliated and pulled out a knife. She stabbed a woman first and then two men as they tried to break up the fight. The three individuals sustained cuts to their arms or armpits and are expected to recover.
According to the Times-Picayune, police arrested Aucoin and booked her into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center in Greta on three counts of aggravated battery, illegal possession of a drug without a prescription, and possession of contraband in a correctional center.
Aucoin was released Monday on $93,000 bond.
