The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and West Bureau Homicide detectives are searching for suspects after a shooting at an unlicensed Koreatown dispensary has left two men dead.

At around 4:20 a.m. on Monday, LAPD Olympic Officers responded to a call about shooting at the Korea Town Exotics dispensary on Western Avenue. When police arrived at the scene, they found the location locked and barred.

Officers were able to contact a female employee of the dispensary who told them that she was inside along with several customers when she heard gunshots coming from the waiting room. The worker told police that she and the others were able to escape the situation through the dispensary’s back door.

After gaining entry to the location, officers discovered two shooting victims in the waiting room who were later pronounced dead at the scene.

One of the victims was named by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office on Tuesday as 36-year-old Manuel David Corral Jr. of Pasadena.

Police are encouraging anyone with information on the double-murder to contact West Bureau Homicide at 1-213-382-9470 or 1-877-527-3247 on the weekend and during non-business hours. Those wishing to remain anonymous can submit tips to L.A. Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or www.lacrimestoppers.org.
