Veteran-Owned HVGC Announces Memorial Day Pop-Up

A Southern California cannabis company is holding a pop-up event in honor of the Memorial Day weekend.

Veteran-owned Helmand Valley Growers Company (HVGC) has announced a pop-up event at the Torrey Holistics dispensary on Friday, May 28, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The event will provide guests an opportunity to meet the HVGC team, enjoy top-notch cannabis, and give back to the military community.

HVGC donates 100 percent of its profits to the Battle Brothers Foundation for research on the medical benefits of cannabis for veterans living with PTSD and other medical conditions.

HVGC co-founder Matt Curran says the company’s focus is on saving lives through the medicinal use of cannabis.

β€œIt’s letting them (veterans) have a sense of purpose and drive and ability to be a civilian,” says Curran. β€œI want every veteran to have the access to this safely, and I want to be able to tell them everything that’s in here, from the molecular compound, A to Z.”

Guests who purchase an HVGC cartridge at the Friday pop-up event will receive a complimentary battery pack.

The event will also feature various giveaways and product specials.

HVGC’s new merchandise line featuring hats, sweaters, and t-shirts will be available as well.

HVGC recently debuted a line of premium pre-rolls in Indica, Sativa, and Hybrid varieties.

Each pre-roll contains one gram of choice cannabis, carefully selected and tested to ensure a consistent 27 percent THC level.

For those who wish to contribute to the veteran cause, there will also be a donation jar for the Battle Brothers Foundation throughout the Memorial Day weekend.
