Lowell Herb Co is celebrating Pride Month with a limited-edition print and Pride Pack, donating proceeds to prominent LGBTQ advocacy group, GLAAD.
Lowell Herb Co’s stance on supporting and giving back to the LGBTQ community comes as no surprise. Lowell Herb Co has positioned themselves as one of the most progressive and community-oriented cannabis brands on the scene. Employees of Lowell Herb Co are paid living wages, and the cannabis they grow is organic and pesticide free. In 2018, Lowell Herb Co set out to specifically hire people who were recently pardoned for non-violent cannabis crimes.
Lowell Herb Co’s Pride Pack includes 3.5 grams of their Pride Blend, rolled into 7 prerolls. The Pride Blend used is comprised of 50% Cherry Gas and 50% Head Band; a bright 22% THC Sativa blend. The pack comes with strike-anywhere matches and a magnetic closure to keep your pre-rolls safe and sound.
For the entire month of June, when you purchase the Pride Pack, you will receive a poster from Letter Shoppe and 10% of the proceeds will go to GLAAD.
The poster included in the pack was made in Lowell Herb Co’s first collaboration with Dina Rodriguez of Letter Shoppe. Dina is an LGBTQ artist whose work is primarily focused on mental health, body positivity, and cannabis culture.
“When I was approached to create this unique poster design, it felt like it was a dream project. I was impressed by Lowell Herb Co’s products and knew I could deliver a powerful image that would attract their customers because it aligned with my own values.
Representation is one of the first steps towards acceptance for the LGBTQ community. As a female entrepreneur, I intentionally create artwork that changes people’s point of view so I can create the world I wished existed. It’s ideal to be able to work with like-minded brands like that believe in a better world where women and the LGBTQ community have a stronger voice,” Dina explains in a statement provided by Lowell Herb Co.
For the entire month of June, when you purchase the Pride Pack, you will receive Dina Rodriguez’s poster as a gift and 10% of the proceeds will go to GLAAD.
Lowell Herb Co’s Pride Pack is the first partnership between GLAAD and a cannabis brand. GLAAD, founded in 1985, is a media organization that focuses on rewriting the LGBTQ narrative and advocating for the community in ways to create cultural change. GLAAD promotes lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender equality.
The Pride Pack can be purchased in California, check with your local dispensary for availability. Lowell Herb Co. is carried in over 350 dispensaries up and down the coast.
