This is an exciting time here in San Diego for the eight lucky legal dispensaries open for recreation sales on January 1st. The dispensaries listed below are currently legal medical marijuana collectives. However, the state has provided them with a temporary permit to sell recreational marijuana for people that are 21+ starting January 1st.
With adding recreational to the mix, the state has also changed some requirements. The first, having opaque packaging for their products. Products must also be packaged in childproof containers. Additionally, collectives will have to stay away from gummies and animal shaped edibles, to be sure not to attract children.
