London’s famous luxury department store, Harrods has entered into a deal with a local manufacturer to stock their shelves with cannabidiol (CBD) oil.
Dragonfly Biosciences announced on Wednesday that Harrods has begun selling three of their CBD oil products, which are also available at many outlets in the United Kingdom including Tesco, Boots, and a number of pharmacies.
The London-based Dragonfly Biosciences is a leading producer of CBD and cannabis-derived extracts in Europe, with a patented extraction process and a goal of setting the standard for quality in the industry “from the grassroots up.”
“We are delighted by this distribution deal with Harrods, which further entrenches the legitimacy of the Dragonfly brand,” said Dragonfly CEO, Hannah Skingle. “It is exciting to see CBD move into the wellness market as it becomes more widely accepted and understood by the public as demonstrated by this deal.”
From planting, cultivation, and harvesting to extraction and product formulation, Dragonfly controls all aspects of production, and its CBD oils are certified to be vegan, non-GMO, GMP-manufactured, and THC-free.
The 30ml bottles of DragonflyCBD oil are now available at Harrods in 1500mg, 2000mg, and 3000mg strengths.
Harrods also currently sells a small selection of hemp clothing items as well as a few CBD-infused men’s skin care products from Perricone MD via the store’s website.
