Kiva Releases Cannabis-Infused Turkey Gravy Just In Time For Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is almost here, and within just a few days, hungry Americans across the country will be piling their plates high with mountains of turkey, stuffing, potatoes, and grandma’s green bean casserole.

But this year, California cannabis confection company Kiva wants to make the pile of food on your plate a little bit higher with a generous helping of their new limited edition cannabis-infused turkey gravy poured on top.

Kiva’s new turkey gravy utilizes cutting-edge technology, which the company says allows consumers to begin feeling the effects of the edible within 15 minutes.

According to Kiva, the technology enables the delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in edibles to bypass the liver and be absorbed through the soft tissue and stomach, allowing for effects to be felt within 2 to 15 minutes.

“Fast-acting edibles technology is an exciting industry innovation because it has the potential to change the way people use edibles, breaking down barriers to entry,” says Kiva co-founder and CEO Scott Palmer. “What better way to start than with America’s favorite Thanksgiving dressing?”

Kiva’s turkey gravy is infused with 10mg of THC and is made with ingredients such as turkey stock, onion, and garlic to create a familiar flavor with an uncommon gravy ingredient such as cannabis.

Following the release of their new turkey gravy, Kiva will be introducing a premium cannabis-infused hot cocoa that uses the same fast-acting technology in December, just in time for the holiday season.

Packets of Kiva’s turkey gravy are available at Sweet Flower locations in Los Angeles and Grass Roots shops in San Francisco while limited supplies last.
