Keyon Dooling spent more than a decade playing for the Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, and other NBA teams before officially retiring in 2013. Now, the basketball veteran is partnering with west coast cannabis producer Camp Green Organics Inc. to produce a line of therapeutic CBD products under the name Krafted Organics.
Camp Green was founded in 2013 and produces various premium cannabis products in Yolo County, California.
“While healing my mind and body from my inner personal challenges that I had to face, I discovered certain oils and scents such as lavender that worked really well for me in regard to wellness when combined with CBD,” said Dooling in a press release. “CBD actually plays a big part in my everyday wellness regimen—so much so, that I decided to take things further and share my knowledge and wellness success with the world.”
Dooling revealed in 2014 the details of childhood trauma and how he broke free of the resulting PTSD that haunted him for many years.
“More and more people are switching over to a healthier alternative with CBD products that can significantly help with issues ranging from depression, body aches and anxiety to PTSD and skin problems,” said Camp Green Marketing VP Emery Morrison. “Most people don’t know that CBD interacts with the cannabinoid receptors located throughout the human body which can provide very positive changes that can improve health.”
The new line from Krafted Organics features a selection of CBD topicals, capsules, chews, and tinctures aimed at promoting mental health and treating pain, nausea, stress, and symptoms associated with PTSD.
