A Southern California pet product manufacturer has launched a new brand of CBD treats for cats, building on the company’s growing line of hemp-based products for animals.
On Wednesday, Poway-based Phyto Animal Health announced the release of their latest CBD pet product, Hempbone Smoked Salmon Bites for cats.
Phyto Animal Health CEO, Ian Quinn says that, after the success of their Hempbone Bacon Apple Donuts dog treats, they wanted to offer a safe and nutritious snack for cats.

Quinn says that the Salmon Bites contain one-fourth of the CBD of Bacon Apple Donuts to meet the dosing needs and taste preferences of cats better.
The star-shaped cat treats are soft-baked and naturally flavored for an authentic salmon and roasted seafood flavor, each containing 1 milligram of hemp-derived, triple-lab-tested CBD.
All of Phyto Animal Health’s hemp is grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers, and the company abides by standards set by the National Animal Supplement Council.
