A multi-state cannabis company has opened another Florida dispensary.
On Tuesday, North Fort Myers, Florida-based Trulieve announced the opening of its newest medical cannabis dispensary in the Tampa area.
The new shop, Tampa-Fairgrounds Trulieve, is the company’s 8th dispensary in Florida.
The dispensary, located at 7702 East Hillsborough Avenue near the I-4 and I-75 intersection, celebrated its grand opening on Tuesday with special deals, discounts, music, and partner giveaways.
As is the custom of all Trulieve Florida dispensaries, first-time customers are eligible for a 50 percent new customer discount.
As part of a 12 Days of Cannabis promotion, Trulieve launched its TruChocolate Dark Chocolate Cranberry edibles on Tuesday along with a one-day promotional deal on partner Bhang’s cannabis-infused dark and milk chocolate products.

According to Trulieve, all of its Florida dispensaries provide on-site consultations to assist patients in obtaining the proper medical cannabis products, determine dosages, and ensure optimal experiences.
Trulieve says its dispensaries offer patients the largest selection of THC and CBD products like cannabis flowers, concentrates, edibles, capsules, syringes, tinctures, topical creams, and vaporizers.
The company’s Florida dispensaries also carry brands like Bhang, Bellamy Brothers, Blue River, Love’s Oven, Black Tuna, O.pen, and Sunshine cannabis.
