Walgreens, CVS, Kroger, American Eagle Outfitters, and Abercrombie & Fitch have all added cannabidiol (CBD) products to their inventory in the past year, and the list of mainstream retailers carrying such items continues to grow.
On Thursday, Beverly Hills-based Uncle Bud’s Hemp announced the launch of its full range of CBD products, including its Miss Bud’s beauty line, exclusively at The Vitamin Shoppe.
Uncle Bud’s co-founder Garrett Greller has suffered from arthritis in his back, knees, hips, and ankles since the age of 14.
After spending thousands of dollars on pills, topical pain relievers, physical therapy, eastern medicine, and other remedies that did not ease his pain effectively, Greller turned to a hemp-based solution for relief.
Greller began working with an FDA-registered lab to formulate what would become Uncle Bud’s first of a growing line of products, a CBD-infused topical pain reliever that solved his pain problems without side effects.
Singer Toni Braxton says that Uncle Bud’s products, which have become a favorite remedy among her family members, have helped her ease from lupus by becoming a part of her daily routine.
“Like most people, family is central to my life, when I started using Uncle Bud’s to help with the side effects of Lupus, I didn’t expect the whole family to fall in love with the products, but they did and it makes sense,” said Braxton in a statement. “The boys love the pain relief cream post basketball, and my mom is a big fan of the hand and foot cream.”
Braxton says she is happy with the products because they are clean, effective, and started with a family-friendly formula.
Uncle Bud’s currently has more than 20 CBD-infused products and an additional 30 hemp seed oil-based products which are GMO-free, infused with quality organic ingredients, and not tested on animals.
