The world’s first dairy dispensary is set to open in Los Angeles, California later this month, but don’t expect to find any THC or CBD in any of their edible products.
Real California Milk (Real) today announced a reimagining of the dairy and dispensary model through a California Dairy Dispensary pop-up event that is scheduled to take place in the city of Venice on February 22.
The pop-up event will focus on promoting natural mood-enhancing properties of California dairy foods such as cheese, micro-dosed butter, flavor-infused yogurts, and rolled ice cream which Real describes as, “all the TLC without the THC.”
Real is also taking its own spin on the CBD acronym.
“California based dairy foods, or CBD for short, not only taste delicious but are a natural way to enter a golden state of feeling everything from bliss to excitement,” says California Milk Advisory Board CEO John Talbot. “A dispensary-inspired setting offers consumers an unexpected way to experience their favorite foods made with real milk produced on family dairy farms using the nation’s most sustainable farming practices.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with a seasoned dairy docent at the event to find the dairy product that is right for them.
Real says that the event will be everything that is expected from a traditional dispensary, but in dairy form and highlighting dairy’s role as the original mood-enhancer.
The California Dairy Dispensary pop-up event is scheduled to take place on February 22, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 1108 Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice, California.
Due to limited space, those wishing to attend are encouraged to sign up for a free spot at the Eventbrite page.
