Cannabis World Congress and Business Expo 2018

The first year in California’s recreational cannabis market has implemented many changes in policies, testing requirements, research & development, packaging essentials, security, and capital investment. The Cannabis World Congress & Business Exposition (CWCBExpo) is an annual event dedicated to highlighting these rapidly evolving aspects and displaying many accompaniments to keep investors, business developers, and cannabis production companies up-to-date with the latest in cannabis business development.

Taking place September 26-29th, 2018 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, the first day consisted of workshops sponsored by both Clover Leaf University and New Frontier Data, while Folium Biosciences and Elixinol sponsored an Industry Update by Troy Dayton and a Keynote Address by Steve DeAngelo on the 2nd day. Doors to the expo floor also opened on the second day with many companies available to showcase their products and services. To name just a few exhibitors: Siva Enterprises, CalyFx, Advanced Nutrients, Across International, True Terpenes, The CBD Skincare Co., Nonnie’s Nectar, Canna Hemp, Gro Nutrients, and many others. As Friday’s expo doors came to a close, separate ticket holders were treated to an after-hours industry party that took place at the Grammy Museum.

While companies like Chemtech Services Inc., Gerard Daniel Worldwide, Comerg LLC, Lab Society, Extrakt Lab, Hightech Extracts, Greenbroz, and Hemp Tech Services showcased a variety of extraction and processing equipment, companies such as Rainman Investment, Transpring, Convectium, Torrch, Antpods, and Vapetron displayed their respective vape cartridges and filling machines necessary to keep up with the rising popularity of pre-filled cartridges. Additional ancillary companies included equipment and services ranging from grow room development and sustainability, ATM and Cash Management services, security, material waste removal, edible flavor infusion, point of sales systems, track and trace software, human resources solutions, and many additionl services that are becoming increasingly vital as the industry establishes itself.
