Curaleaf Opens 43rd and 44th Florida Dispensaries

The world’s largest cannabis company has two new medical cannabis dispensaries in Florida.

Today, Curaleaf Holdings, Inc. announced the grand opening of two new locations in Tampa Bay and Largo.

With the opening of the two new shops, Curaleaf expands its portfolio of dispensaries to 44 in Florida and 119 nationwide.

The Curaleaf Tampa Bay Mabry location, at 13755 North Dale Mabry Highway, opened on January 15.

Once obtaining final regulatory approvals, Curaleaf expects its Largo location, at 10289 Ulmerton Road, to open later this month.

In December, Curaleaf opened four new dispensaries in Lady Lake, Stuart, Wesley Chapel, and Miami.

“We are excited to kick off this year continuing our momentum of expansion and growth in Florida,” says Curaleaf President Matt Darin. “Throughout this year our patients can expect to see Curaleaf continue to lead the Florida market with new innovative products and convenient new locations.”

Curaleaf says that Florida has evolved into one of the country’s largest and fastest-growing medical cannabis markets.

To take advantage of the lucrative market, Curaleaf has expanded its retail presence and cultivation operations in the state while introducing new products like Select Squeeze, Select Nano Bites, and new vaping hardware like Cliq.

Curaleaf says its Florida growth strategy resulted in significant gains in 2021, and the company doubled its market share to fifteen percent in the state.
