Curaleaf Opens 45th Medical Cannabis Dispensary In Florida

One of the worlds leading cannabis product companies has opened a new retail location in Florida.

Wakefield, Massachusetts-based Curaleaf today announced the opening of its 45th medical cannabis dispensary in Tamarac.

The new shop is Curaleaf’s second retail outlet in Broward County.

Curaleaf opened a dispensary in Deerfield Beach in 2018, but the new shop is the company’s first location in West Broward County.

Located at 6899 North University Drive, Curaleaf says the new Tamarac shop expands medical cannabis access in the western half of one of Florida’s most populated counties.

“We are excited to deepen our roots in the Sunshine State and serve even more patients in Broward County,” says Curaleaf President Matt Darin. “Our team is grateful for the continued support of Florida’s medical cannabis community as we offer convenient and accessible patient experiences through our growing retail presence.”

According to Curaleaf, its new Tamarac shop will stock a wide variety of company products like Select Nano Bites, Select Squeeze, Select Bites, and Cliq vape pods.

The company says it continues to scale its operations in the country’s largest medical market using a tailored approach based in advocacy and patient education.

As a result, Curaleaf says it has served approximately 300,000 patients in its 45 dispensaries across Florida.

According to the company, its recent momentum has doubled its market share in the state over the past year.

In honor of the new shop’s grand opening, Curaleaf will offer 50 percent discounts and double rewards points from Friday, April 1 through Sunday, April 3.

Curaleaf says it will also offer gifts and prizes on April 1.
