Curaleaf Opens State College Dispensary In Pennsylvania

One of the largest cannabis companies in the United States has opened a new dispensary in Pennsylvania.

Wakefield, Massachusetts-based Curaleaf today announced the opening of its newest medical cannabis shop in State College.

Opening the new dispensary, which sits at 1248 South Atherton Street, brings Curaleaf’s dispensary count in Pennsylvania to 16 and 127 nationwide.

Curaleaf expects to open another Pennsylvania dispensary at 7891 Peach Street in Erie sometime in early March.

Curaleaf says its new State College shop is a beacon of education and advancement in patient care across the state.

According to the company, patients who visit the new dispensary can browse and purchase an array of Curaleaf products like vaporizers, concentrates, and cannabis flower products.

The new shop will stock Select Elite, Select Elite Live, Grassroots, Full-Spectrum RSOs, RSO capsules, and more.

For added efficiency, patients can access all of the store’s product offerings through the website.

“Curaleaf is excited to begin serving our newest patient communities in State College and Erie through our premium medical products and inclusive retail experiences,” says Curaleaf CEO Joe Bayern. “Expanding our presence within Pennsylvania enables us to further support our patients by providing them with quality products and service to make confident and informed decisions about their medical marijuana journeys.”

The State College dispensary will host a grand opening celebration on February 21, complete with a ribbon-cutting with the Chamber of Business and Industry of Centre County.

After the ceremony, Curaleaf State College will host vendor pop-ups from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Curaleaf donated $5,000 to the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank in honor of the grand opening.

Previously, Curaleaf donated to the Urban Affairs Coalition and Balanced Veterans Network for the grand openings of shops in Wayne and Greensburg.

Curaleaf will offer grand opening discounts to veterans, seniors, students, and first-time patients at all Pennsylvania locations in the coming weeks.

In addition to the new State College shop, Curaleaf has dispensaries in Altoona, Bradford Brookville, City Avenue, DuBois, Gettysburg, Greensburg Harrisburg, Horsham, King of Prussia, Lebanon, Morton, Philadelphia, and Wayne.
