Desert Daze: Phase II Update

Welcome to Phase II. Hydrate and take your vitamins.

To build an unknown world from common ingredients, Desert Daze has become a crash course in sonic survivalism. Each year, the (not a) festival introduces a unique lineup with its Phase I announcement, sweetens the deal to hypoglycemic levels with Phase II and then Phase III astrally projects you into the cosmos.
Newly announced acts Jarvis Cocker of Pulp (introducing JARV IS … ), Earth performing The Bees Made Honey in the Lion’s Skull , Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats (North American exclusive), Beak> (ft Geoff Barrow of Portishead) join initially announced acts Tame Impala, Death Grips, Mercury Rev performing their essential  Deserter’s Songs , Warpaint, Ty Segall & White Fence, and Chelsea Wolfe. PLUS HINDS, Boogarins, Follakzoid, Bedouine, Wand, Imarhan and more, with TWO unannounced headliners still to come.
Further, Damien Echols has just been added to the alternative programming schedule, presenting  High Magick: A Guide to the Spiritual Practices That Saved My Life on Death Row.
More lineup announcements and headliners to be revealed… as well as mind-expanding films, talks, art installations and projections, the return of the Mystic Bazaar, and newly added late night programming.
From the beginning, Desert Daze has sought to provide a one of a kind festival experience; epic yet intimate, esoteric yet accessible, catering to weirdos, but embracing to all, and to facilitate the ever expanding growth of the human spirit. Every third Desert Daze story starts with “I don’t usually like festivals, but…” (everyone else who thinks festivals are awesome ranks it among their top experiences).
Desert Daze 2018 takes place Oct 12-14 at beautiful and otherworldly Moreno Beach at Lake Perris in Southern California. Tickets and Camping Passes are on sale now. Visit desertdaze.org for more information, and to watch the new Visualizer Radio.
This is a developing story. Stay tuned in for Phase III.
