Martha Stewart Announced As Keynote Speaker At World Cannabis Congress

More than 600 executives, thought leaders, policy makers, and other influential figures are set to meet at the World Cannabis Congress (WCC) in Saint John, New Brunswick this June with the common goal of impacting the global cannabis industry.

Civilized publisher Derek Riedle says the invite-only event is a summit for the world’s top C-suite leaders, government officials, and investors to move the industry forward.

Executives, scientists, and researchers from North American cannabis companies such as Tilray, Leafly, HEXO will be present at the WCC, and Canopy Growth founder and co-CEO, Bruce Linton will be in attendance as a keynote speaker.

On Thursday, Civilized announced that lifestyle expert and author Martha Stewart had been added as another keynote speaker for the event.

“I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience in the lifestyle space with this tailored audience,” said Stewart. “As I begin to collaborate on products for the CBD market, and as the demand for these types of product grows, I’m very interested in the conversations and connections at this event.”

Riedle says that Stewart is the perfect example of where the cannabis industry is heading as businesses move from the “backroom to the boardroom,” with a brand that reaches an estimated 100 million consumers and products in more than 70 million households.

Parties interested in attending the World Cannabis Congress, which is scheduled to take place June 16-18, can submit a request for an invitation which will be carefully considered.
