seedleSs Event

By: Matthew Lopez

Compliant cannabis events are a great way for canna-communities to gather together for a mix of local festivities. This was no exception at the San Diego Chapter of Americans for Safe Access’s 4th annual Prop 215 Party hosted by SeedleSs. On February 15th, 2017, the small Ocean Beach location played gracious host to a variety of local vendors and awesome cannabis companies. The list included Flow Kana, Hempmeds, Medicinals Mama’s Gluten & Dairy Free Edibles, and collective groups such as Timely Holistic Care, Okun THC, Point Loma Patient Consumer Cooperative, Calstate Caregivers, and Southwest Patient Group. Medicinal Mike with NugLIfe Radio was the MC and Mother Earth, San Diego Hemp Designs, and SuperBaked here happy to join in as sponsors. Those in need of a tasty food sensation could count on Chēba Hut and their list of many cannabis-themed (but non-medicated) sub sandwiches to chase the munchies away. Event goers were also treated to a mix of enjoyable activities such as raffles, small samplings, live music, and amazing meds.

We had the brief opportunity of speaking with Terrie Best – Chapter Chair of SDASA – to find out more about the event:

“We always look forward to this fundraiser as it is the only one we host all year. We have an amazing group of members who genuinely work hard for the benefit of the local cannabis community. Nobody draws a salary at SDASA for their work, and so we’re always thankful for all the support from our volunteers and friends. We certainly want to thank seedleSs too, who have simply been the best when it comes to their contributions. We’ve been long-time allies and have remained rock solid against Team 9 of the Narcotic Task Force which is the San Diego County Marijuana Eradication Task Force. We want to thank them again for all of their hard work.”

We’d like to say thank you to everyone who helped make the SDASA’s 4th Annual Prop 215 party such an amazing and successful event. For more information on the San Diego Chapter of Americans For Safe Access, you can visit their website at SafeAccessSD.com
