Tikun Opens Large-Scale Cannabis Cultivation And Processing Facility In Adelanto

Premium cannabis company Tikun today kicked off the grand opening of a new state-of-the-art 132,000 square-foot cannabis production facility in Adelanto, California.

The new facility features an automated 80,000 square-foot Next G3n light deprivation greenhouse, a 20,000 square-foot support facility, and a 32,000 square-foot production and processing center.

The facility is equipped with efficient modern technologies such as Spectrum King LED lighting, a fully-automated Meteor fertigation system, and a Next G3n evaporative cooling system.

“We’re delighted to unveil the first of three phases in our plan to provide Tikun’s premium cannabis medicine to all of California,” says Tikun California president Rami Vardi. “We are humbled by the Adelanto community’s encouraging reception of Tikun’s operation and we look forward to further expanding our reach statewide, which this milestone opening will soon make possible.”

In addition to cultivation and processing, Tikun’s new facility is capable of performing liquid chromatography analysis, CO2 critical extraction, formulation, trimming, packaging, and distribution.

At the new facility, Tikun will cultivate six of its proprietary medicinal cannabis strains which the company says have shown clinical efficacy in providing symptomatic relief for a variety of conditions.

Tikun is scheduled to harvest its first crop at the new facility in early 2020 and derivative products are expected to be available for purchase in February.

Tikun products became available in California earlier this year and the company signed a deal with MedMen in September to increase their availability in the state.
