Turn 4/20 Up To 11

The annual cannabis consumer holiday is right around the corner, and it’s time to celebrate with our favorite cannabinoids.

The 4/20 holiday’s most widely accepted origin story traces back to a group of five high school students, known as the ‘Waldos,’ from San Rafael, California.

In the Fall of 1971, a classmate presented the Waldos with a map to an alleged cannabis garden in the Point Reyes National Seashore forest, of which his Coast Guard brother-in-law had renounced ownership.

After obtaining the map, the Waldos agreed to meet at the school’s Louis Pasteur statue at 4:20 after football practice to search for the garden.

Despite repeated attempts, the Waldos never found the garden.

The rest is 4:20 history.

Cannabis Changes with the Times

In the decades since the Waldos’ search for that mythical garden, the world of cannabis has changed drastically.

Increased legalization of medicinal and adult-use cannabis products has expanded consumer options beyond the standard bags of flower, hash, and pot brownies of the past.

But despite the changes to cannabis culture, 4:20 remains a constant.

To make your 4/20 celebration special, there is a wealth of new products on the market that take the cannabis experience to new heights, unobtainable in the 1970s.

Not all products may be available where you live, but if you can’t find what you’re looking for here, I have faith that you will find the appropriate substitutes for your 4/20 festivities; because you have that infamous stoner ingenuity.

If you want to get things started quickly but don’t like to smoke or dab, nano formulas can kick cannabinoids into high gear.

Nanotechnology increases bioavailability, allowing ingested THC-infused products to activate quickly within 5-15 minutes.

If you are not used to nano edibles, you may want to start with a small dose as the effects may feel more intense than what you might be used to.

Kanha Edibles *

Kanha, the #1 selling cannabis edibles brand in California, has some gummy candies with flavors that will take you back to your childhood, and a THC content that will remind you that you are an adult.

Kanha strawberry lemonade sour belts are potent and delicious

This is one belt you want to get.

If you’re a fan of sour belt candies, Kanha’s Strawberry Lemonade sour belts might be a good match for you.

Each package contains two 50mg belts, which are segmented into five 10mg sections for easy dosing.

The belts’ sour strawberry lemonade flavor is reminiscent of mall candy store fare, and the Indica high is clean, mellow, and a bit cerebral.

For a quicker onset time, Kanha also has a line of soft and chewy fruit-gem-like THC-enhanced nanomolecular gummies in a range of flavors, some of which are vegan.

The sweet and tasty Kanha Nano Galactic Grape and Passionfruit flavors that I tried were bold and potent, with THC effects felt within ten minutes of consumption.

The non-vegan flavors also include Cran-Pomegranate Punch, Sublime Key Lime, and Cosmic Citrus.

Select Squeeze *

Select recently released a line of 150mg THC Squeeze flavors that allow you to transform any hot or cold beverage into a liquid edible.

Squeeze to activate

Mary Jane loves a little squeeze.

Utilizing nanoemulsion, Squeeze dissolves easily in liquids and absorbs quickly into the body.

In addition to strawberry lemonade, watermelon, and lemon-lime flavors, Squeeze also comes in a Hint of Sweet flavor, which serves as a THC-enhanced sweetener, perfect for coffee or tea.

If Squeeze sounds like a good addition to your 4/20 celebration, you may want to get to your local cannabis shop as soon as possible.

I’ve heard from a reliable source that the product is flying off the shelves.

incredibles

Chocolate lovers rejoice, because incredibles has some tasty edibles for your head-ibles.

The incredibles Peanut Budda Buddha, Strawberry Crunch, Mile High Mint, and Monkey Bars are infused with 100mg of THC, and packed with goodies (peanut butter pretzels, strawberries, rice crispies, coconut, bananas, & walnuts) to delight your taste buds.

The incredible edibles.

There’s also a 100mg CBD Black Cherry milk and dark chocolate bar, perfect for starting the wind-down to your 4/20 celebration.

If chocolate isn’t your bag, incredibles also has bags of THC-infused gummies in Greener Apple, Summer Peach, Mon Cherry, and Watermelon Smash flavors.

There are also 100mg packs of THC incredibles mints.

Because what civilized 4/20 party is complete without a bowl of medicated mints on the table?
