Cannabis Science Conference Coming To Southern California

A conference focused on the scientific aspects of the cannabis plant is coming to the Golden State.

Today, the Cannabis Science Conference (CSC) announced that it will be holding an event at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center on May 18-20, 2022.

The conference is organized by MJH Life Sciences, which Josh Crossney founded in 2016.

Among the featured guests at the CSC will be television personality and cannabis advocate Montel Williams who will deliver a celebrity plenary address entitled, “Let’s Be Blunt.”

“Montel Williams has been an incredible advocate, activist, and ambassador to the cannabis community for decades,” says MJH Life Sciences Director of Cannabis Events Joshua Crossney. “It has been an honor to work alongside Montel, a true pioneer and trailblazer over the past years. He adds a powerful and moving perspective to our conferences and always has something new and exciting to share with CSC attendees.”

According to a CSC press release, the conference will also feature a celebrity keynote presentation from former NFL offensive tackle Eben Britton during the Psychedelic Science track.

The CSC structure will center around five tracks that will deliver a diverse selection of innovative and educational content created by experts in the cannabis industry.

The included tracks are Analytical Science, Medical Cannabis, Cultivation, Hemp/CBD, and the new Psychedelic Science track.

Crossney says the time for things like Zoom meetings has passed, and it is time to gather together to make progress in cannabis science.

“We are excited to return to face-to-face information sharing,” says Crossney. “In-person networking has always been an integral part of the CSC experience and, let’s face it, we all have webinar and e-meeting burnout. It’s time to safely reconvene and advance science together!”
