Curaleaf Opens Cannabis Shop Drive-Thru On Las Vegas Strip

The world’s largest cannabis company is opening a drive-thru for one of its dispensaries in Las Vegas, Nevada.

On Tuesday, Wakefield, Massachusetts-based Curaleaf announced the opening of the first cannabis drive-thru on the Las Vegas Strip.

The dispensary, which opened in January 2020, sits at 1736 Las Vegas Boulevard, minutes away from major hotels and casinos in the area.

It also conveniently shares a parking lot with a 24-hour taco shop, which has a drive-thru as well.

The Curaleaf shop is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 3 a.m.

Eager to serve Las Vegas residents and visitors, Curaleaf CEO Joe Bayern says the overarching mission is to expand access to high-quality cannabis products for its diverse community of patients and consumers.

“After receiving overwhelming customer demand at both of our Las Vegas locations over the past year, it is clear that cannabis is becoming part of the Vegas experience.” says Bayern. “Opening the first drive-through dispensary on the Strip brings an unmatched level of convenience and access to cannabis retail, and we look forward to providing empowering and confident cannabis experiences to this community.”

The new Curaleaf dispensary drive-thru will soon serve both medical and adult-use customers.

Veterans are eligible to receive a 20 percent discount at the dispensary, and Nevada locals with a state-issued ID can receive a 10 percent discount off regularly-priced items.

Drive-thru customers may place their order ahead of time and pick it up or shop when they arrive.

Curaleaf says the expanded shopping options increase accessibility for customers who may not want to enter the shop but still select the products they want.

Among the products available at the dispensary include a variety of Select-branded items like vape cartridges and gummies.

Also available are products developed through recent brand partnerships like the Select music-inspired Rolling Stone vapes, which launched in June, and B Noble pre-rolls.

Update: After receiving word of a delay on the drive-thru’s opening, changed wording to indicate that the drive-thru will open soon
