A top international consumer cannabis products company is preparing to open four new dispensaries in Florida by the end of 2021.
Wakefield, Massachusetts-based Curaleaf today announced plans to open the new shops, which will increase the company’s Florida footprint to 42 dispensaries.
Curaleaf opened its 38th dispensary in the state in early December.
In an effort to increase its presence in what it calls one of the largest and fastest-growing medical markets in the country, Curaleaf has expanded its retail and cultivation footprint and debuted innovative products like Select Squeeze and Select Nano Bites.
The company also recently introduced the gravity-fed, pod-based Cliq by Select vaping system in Florida.
“We have been very thoughtful in how we have chosen to expand access to our products and retail experience across the state, and as a result we have doubled our Florida market share to 15 percent this year,” says Curaleaf Regional President Matt Darin. “We are proud of the confidence and trust Curaleaf’s patients put in our products and team, and next year we will continue to lead innovation in the industry and launch new products in the Florida market.”
Curaleaf Stuart (1910 Federal Highway) will be the first of the four dispensaries to open its doors on December 21, followed by Curaleaf Lady Lake (919 North Highway 441), Curaleaf Wesley Chapel (19416 Bruce B Downs Blvd.), and Curaleaf Miami (12125 SW 152nd St.) in the coming weeks.
Each of the dispensaries will hold grand opening ceremonies on January 8, 2022.
Curaleaf says the celebrations will include entertainment, branded swag, and product promotions.
