Farmhouse Inc.’s WeedClub division will be hosting a networking event this month for stakeholders in the hemp and cannabis industries at its office in the Runway Innovation Hub which is located on the fourth floor of the Twitter building in San Francisco.
The October 15 evening event will focus on growth stage and investor-related content.
“All attendees are welcome to ask questions and participate in a deeper conversation as we work together as one industry to solve critical problems,” says WeedClub co-founder Evan Horowitz. “Founders will learn more ways to find investor alignment, and investors will discover new businesses to add to their portfolios.”
The event will commence with a freestyle networking session where attendees can connect with key influencers in the cannabis industry.
Following the evening’s networking segment, Horowitz will be delivering a live presentation entitled Cannabis Fundraising 101.
Active investors on the WeedClub platform will be presenting overviews of what they are looking for when they evaluate companies and founders.
The event will also feature lightning talks by Peter Rosenberg from Merida Capital, Ross Uchimura from Clay Street Capital, Brian Holmes from First Ascent Associates, and others.
